Daisy was only 14 weeks old when she fell three stories to the pavement below. To the best of our knowledge it was an accident. Because her owner could not provide for Daisy's medical care she was transported to the RISPCA. Upon arrival, Daisy was in extreme pain and in shock. She was given emergency care and transported to Dighton/ Rehoboth Animal Hospital. Her condition remained critical for 4 days due to the fact she had severe internal injuries and possible spinal cord trauma.
After two weeks of convalescing at the hospital and the RISPCA, Daisy is improving day by day. Her left forelimb is in a cast and she will be restricted to a small area for one month. Daisy was given a second chance because of the Marvin Fund and all the kind people who help Marvin help those who can not help themselves.
