Miracle was a 4-month old mini-horse when she was weaned from her mother and brought to an auction to be sold. At 14-months of age she was found in the inner city nearly starved to death, infested with lice and internal parasites. Her legs were becoming deformed because of an improper diet. The owner willingly surrendered Miracle to the RISPCA were she was rehabilitated over a 2 month period of time. Miracle’s second chance came when a veterinarian adopted her to spend the rest of her days grazing on his farm in North Smithfield.

Update 2007 - Miracle is owned by Dr. Scott Marshall and his wife Caroline and enjoying life with her other friends on Dr. Marshall's farm in North Smithfield.
